Starting the process

Remove old window

Cleaning

Clean the frame from old caulking and paper.

Paper can prevent new foam from adhesion and let air in. Rotten wood will be replaced with new one if applicable.

New window

Insert new window into the frame

Alignment

Align window. Set all sides of the window according to the level.

Level

Add shims according to the size to the bottom and sides.

Check opening and closing of the window and double check the lines of the level

Insulation process

After level and fixation of the window is done, we can start foam insulation process. Proper insulation will allow you to save on bills

If applicable foaming is performed in two rows

Almost done

After all previous steps are done, we can start interior decoration process (vinyl or wood). If it is wood decoration all nails and holes are need to be finished with wood filler. All other parts finished with Alex Plus paste for example or other approved brand like Supra, Tremco, Dowsil, etc.
